LibertyAir is developing Australia’s first carbon-free air freight company through the use of hydrogen-powered airships. The company’s mission is to provide Australians with a cost-effective, green service for transporting goods.
LibertyAir will be price competitive, as the fuel will be much cheaper than jet-a fuel, which is experiencing record price rises and is extremely bad for the environment.
The company will initially target short, high-volume routes from metropolitan cities to regional hubs. Some of the routes the company is considering are Sydney to regional New South Wales, Brisbane to regional Queensland, and Melbourne to regional Victoria.
